Q) So, who are you?
A) Glad you asked, Dark Bunny Tees is pretty much me, Alex
Chenery. I've been a freelance illustrator since 2008 and always
wanted to put some designs on t-shirts. Read more here
Q) So you only print 100 of each design? Why?
A) 100 maximum, some designs may only have 50 or even 20 prints worldwide. Why? For you guys - I don't like spotting someone wearing the exact same cool t-shirts as me. It takes the cool edge off! With only a maximum of 100 similar t-shirts in the world, the chances of seeing any one with the same t-shirt are pretty slim. Not saying it won't happen, but the item you buy is still a limited edition!
It also means that I have to work hard to keep the designs new and fresh and hopefully you guys will come back to see what I have to offer.
Q] Serious stuff now! Why can I only pay by PayPal?
A] Honestly? Simplicity! This is a very fresh new venture for me and while I can build quite a nice website I haven't yet mastered the whole independant shopping cart thing. I will do, but for now
PayPal is 100% safe and secure, customers do not have to have, or sign up to an account to purchase items and it is simple to implement into my website. Also, I do not see any of your credit or debit card details as PayPal handles all transactions. If Dark Bunny Tees takes off, then yes, a full shopping cart will be available.
Q] Why the 'Up to 28 days' for delivery?
A] While I will try to deliver stuff within 2 - 5 working days, this is
going to be a bit of a learning curve for me. I am relying on printers
to get stuff to me on time and learn the stock patterns and sales.
The 28 days just covers my back for the first months of trading,
but please be assured you will get your goods as soon as humanly
possible.
Q] How are your t-shirts printed?
A] Dark Bunny Tees uses screen printing, which is the most
professional printing finish you can get.
Q) Why don't you do XXL sizes?
A) The main reason is that you cannot adjust the size of a screen print, as it is an expensive process creating colour plates set to a certain size. Obviously the plates can only be so big for the small, medium, large and XL sizes. The print simply may look too small on an XXL t-shirt. XXL t-shirts can be ordered if you do not mind a smaller looking print on your shirt.
Simply order an XL and email alex@darkbunnytees.com to let me know your order number / paypal name so I know which order is yours. I will then order a print on an XXL t-shirt.
Q] Can I get a different coloured t-shirt?
A] Because this is a brand new venture for me and I am testing
the waters a little bit, I have selected the best coloured t-shirt
for each design. However, I do want to be able to offer designs
on different coloured t-shirts in the future, but for the first few months of trading I will only able to offer one colour per design.
Q] Ok, so the best printing method, but what about the t-shirts?
A] Each design is painstakingly created from scratch by me, and can take up to two or three days to perfect. Because of this, I don't want to just put them on any old t-shirt. I use Jerzees Vintage look premium t-shirts. Superb quality and a great looking fit.
Q] Why have you only got a few designs for sale?
A] It's all down to set up costs. I want to provide the highest quality
for my customers and to do that I want to use professional
screen-printers and not heat transfers that many online t-shirt
companies use. The initial set up costs for screen-printing each
design is......well......pretty darn high. So rather than compromise
quality, I want to slowly drip feed new designs as I go. I will always
have new designs on the site, but these may be as a pre-order.
Q] What do you use to create your designs?
A] I think of all of my favourite movies and try and pick one. I then
try and work an 'off-the-wall' idea from it. I may watch the film
again for inspiration and generally look for something that a
fan of that particular film will like. I use Adobe Illustrator to create
all of the line work and then Photoshop to colour.
Q] Can I get a refund on my t-shirt?
A] If for some reason you find a fault with your t-shirt, or wish to
exchange it for another size then Dark Bunny Tees will accept
any unworn, unwashed t-shirt for exchange. Postal refunds will
only be given if the product is faulty or the wrong item or size
was sent out by us.
Q] Any more info on the t-shirts you use?
A] Yes you can - Dark Bunny Tees uses Jerzees Colours Vintage
T-Shirts
- 100% combed, ring spun cotton, single jersey
- Pigment-dyed for faded, vintage effect
- Fitted Style
- Weight: 180g/m

Sizes & Measurements
To fit chest (Male) S M L XL cm inches Q] ...and for the Ladies?
A] Tecnically not yet, but this will be happening in the future. However the Small size will fit a size 12 and under rather nicely.
